Leave the A12 motorway at Rosignano Marittimo and continue towards Cecina-Grosseto along the Aurelia dual carriageway (Variante Aurelia). Take the Cecina Nord exit and follow the SS68 towards Volterra. After passing Ponteginori, turn left towards Montecatini Val di Cecina. Approximately 5 km before reaching the village, follow the signs for Relais Poggio del Melograno and continue along the unpaved road for about five minutes.
Take the FI-PI-LI expressway towards Pisa-Livorno and exit at Pontedera. Continue towards Volterra via the SS439. At the junction for Volterra, proceed straight towards Saline di Volterra, then follow the signs for Montecatini Val di Cecina. After passing through the village, continue for approximately 3 km towards Cecina until you reach the signs for the Relais.
Take the Firenze-Siena expressway and exit at Colle Val d'Elsa. Continue towards Volterra, then follow the SS68 in the direction of Cecina until you reach Saline di Volterra. A few kilometres further on, follow the signs for Montecatini Val di Cecina. Around 5 km after the junction, you will find the sign for Relais Poggio del Melograno on your left.
From Pisa International Airport, join the Aurelia dual carriageway (Variante Aurelia) towards Cecina-Grosseto and take the Cecina Nord exit. Continue along the SS68 towards Volterra. After Ponteginori, follow the signs for Montecatini Val di Cecina and, after approximately 5 km, turn onto the unpaved road signposted for Relais Poggio del Melograno.
